C-32 Poster - Executive Transport / Air Force Two

The Boeing C-32A is the aircraft most Americans know as Air Force Two, the designated transport of the Vice President of the United States, as well as the First Lady, senior Cabinet members, and congressional delegations. Based on the Boeing 757-200 airframe, the C-32 was acquired in the late 1990s to replace aging VC-137 aircraft in the executive airlift role, offering greater range, efficiency, and modern avionics. The interior is fitted to a classified configuration that includes a private stateroom, communications suite, conference area, and seating for staff and security personnel, a flying secure office capable of connecting its occupants to any secure communications network in the world.

Four C-32As operate with the 89th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Andrews, the same unit that operates the VC-25 Air Force One aircraft. Though less famous than its larger stable-mate, the C-32 performs a constant and demanding operational schedule, moving senior US government officials on diplomatic and official travel continuously. The aircraft's 757 heritage means parts and maintenance expertise are widely available, and the commercial airframe's proven reliability suits the mission well. When the Vice President travels internationally, the C-32 is the platform that makes it happen.
