F-15E Strike Eagle 🦅
US Air Force - Air Superiority & Strike Fighter - Aircraft Recognition Playing Cards
Born from the legendary, undefeated F-15 Eagle air superiority fighter, the McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) F-15E Strike Eagle took a phenomenal dogfighter and transformed it into the ultimate all-weather, deep-strike machine. Entering service in 1989 and cementing its legendary status by hunting SCUD missile launchers during Operation Desert Storm, the "Mudhen" relies on a specialized two-person crew, a pilot and a Weapons Systems Officer. Together, they manage its advanced radar suite and a massive payload capacity of up to 23,000 pounds of precision-guided ground munitions and air-to-air missiles.
Decades later, the Strike Eagle remains the absolute go-to heavy hitter for the U.S. Air Force in high-stakes combat environments. The jet has been front and center in early 2026, with a massive, historic surge of F-15Es deploying to the Middle East, including rapid transatlantic deployments from RAF Lakenheath to bases in Jordan. Operating at the tip of the spear, these aircraft are actively providing a critical layer of regional deterrence amid rising tensions and recently executed heavy precision attacks against ISIS targets in Syria during Operation Hawkeye Strike. Fast, heavily armed, and battle-tested, the Strike Eagle proves that some combat aircraft just get deadlier with age!
